Setting up the handset for Internet

Select Settings.
Select Wireless & networks or Wireless controls (older versions).
Select Mobile networks.
Select Access point names.
Press the Menu, --> New APN
Select enter Name (Mobitel or something). Press ok
APN: mobitel3g or mobitelbb and press OK.
Select, APN type, enter internet or default and press OK.
Other information not necessary.
Press the Menu and select Save.


Setting up the handset for MMS


On the handset, press the Menu key.
Select Settings.
Select Wireless & networks or Wireless controls (older versions).


Select Mobile networks.
Press the Menu, enter Mobitel MMS or something.
APN: wapmms and press OK
Scroll to, and select, Proxy, enter 192.168.050.163 and press OK.
Scroll to, and select, Port, enter 8080 and press OK.
Scroll to, and select, User name, enter Not Required and press OK.
Scroll to, and select, Password, enter Not Required and press OK.
Scroll to, and select, MMSC, http://192.168.050.165 and press OK.
Scroll to, and select, MMS Proxy, 192.168.050.163 and press OK.
Scroll to, and select, MMS Port , 8080 and press OK.
Scroll to, and select, APN type, enter mms and press OK.
Press the Menu and select Save.

Recently bought LG OPTIMUS GT540 and I manged to figure out the settings for MMS today. It’ll b aplicable for most of the Android mobiles.

Now Create a APN for your data connection.

New APN
Name: Dialog
APN: dialogbb (if you are using data package on mobile)
Save
Now Create another APN for MMS (updated)
New APN
Name : mms
APN: dialogbb
Proxy: 192.168.122.2
Port 8080
MCC : 413
MNC : 12
APN type: mms
Now try send a MMS to your phone.. It should work like magic. If it doesn’t work for you lets discuss

HOW TO INSTALL .JAR FILES IN BLACKBERRY

If you are using OTA files then there won’t be much trouble installing it as you can use your Blackberry Desktop Software for such files but if you are using non-OTA files then the procedure is little different. Follow the simple steps given below to install .jar files in your blackberry phone. This method works for all Blackberry Bold models and few other models.

1. Download .JAR file to your PC
2. Connect your Blackberry to your PC via USB cable.
3. Copy the .jar file which you want to install.
4. Open “My Computer”
5. Find your BlackBerry device in the list of drives.
6. Paste the file either into the root of Blackberry or in a subfolder.
7. Unhook Blackberry from USB cable
8. Scroll to the “Media” icon in your bb device.
9. Click on the “Media” icon to launch it.
10. Press the menu button and select “Explore”
11. Locate the .JAR file either on the device memory or memory card
12. Click the file, and it should prompt you to download (install)
13. Click “Download” and your app will be installed.
14. Now go to the “Downloads” folder and you can see the installed app there.

How to Check Multiple Gmail Accounts Automatically

Google, as most would probably know, allows 

multiple sign-in so you can easily log in to two or 


more Gmail accounts simultaneously inside the 


same browser. And this works with Google Apps accounts as well.

There’re however some limitations here. One, if you sign-out of one Google Account, you will automatically get logged out from all your other Gmail / Google Accounts as well. Second, if you are launching a new browser session, you’ll have to log in to all your Gmail accounts separately because you can switch from one account to another.

Alternate Approach - Sign-in once for all your Gmail Accounts

Let’s say you have three Gmail accounts – one is your primary account that you need to check throughout the day while the other two email accounts aren’t that important.

Wouldn’t it be nice if you could just log into your main Gmail account and automatically get signed into all your other Gmail accounts as well but without having to type the login credentials of any of those accounts? The trick is really simple.

Gmail offers a useful feature called Email Delegation where you can share your inbox with other people (say your spouse) but without revealing your password. Once you delegate your Gmail account to someone, they get instant read-write access to your mailbox and they get signed in to your Gmail account as soon as they sign in to their own Google account.

If you apply the Email Delegation facility to your own Gmail accounts, you can check all your mailboxes by simply logging into your primary Gmail account. Here’s how:

Sign-in to one of your secondary Gmail accounts and go to Mail Settings –> Accounts –> Grant Access to your account (screenshot). Choose “Add another Account” and specify your primary Gmail email address here. You’ll now get a confirmation email (screenshot) in your primary mailbox. Accept the request and repeat these steps for all your other Gmail accounts.

That’s it. Once you sign-in to your main Gmail account, you also check all your secondary email accounts by choosing the “Switch Account” option in the upper left corner of your Gmail window. There’s absolutely no need to manually sign in to any of the other email accounts.
