Skype is Hacked, The feat has been achieved by Efim Bushmanov, a Russian independent research who has used the technique of reverse engineering to crack Skype’s source code.
Although Bushmanov’s goal is to achieve a complete software reversal, which would allow people to create an alternative to Skype, he only published part of the source code to encourage other people willing to spend time and effort in helping him make Skype an open source software.
I am going to use it as my new project but the legal terms specified in Skype’s TOS does not allow reverse engineering to access Skype’s source code, both the European Union and the United States have laws that allow it as long as it helps in terms of interoperability and provided that the technology is not patented. That’s one thing Microsoft should consider.
